I previously shared a mini review and breakdown of the items that I purchased from Glamore Cosmetics in this post, and today I’m concluding with the products that I received from them as extras.
Hean GLAM Highlighter Powder – 9gms (RSP R220)
It lights the skin up with a glamorous dewy glow perfect for high lighting cheeks, eyes, eyebrow area and the decollete. It’s formula is soft and creamy and contains marula oil which has a subtle luminous effect on the skin.
We all know that none of us can ever have enough highlighters right? So whenever I get a new highlighter, I usually let out a squeal of delight and this time was no different.
I received the shade ‘200 – Luxury nude’ and to me it’s a golden-champagne toned highlight. It looks ‘hard’ in the pan, but when I touched it, it’s soft and blends really well. If you go in with a light hand, it’s a beautiful subtle highlight. I really like that it’s buildable as some days I feel like I can be too heavy handed and I’m only going to sit at my desk all day. However, this highlight also came to play, so if you swoop into the pan or build it up, you can get a really stunning ‘bam in your face’ type of highlight as well.
This one will become my go too for day to day makeup. The wear time on this was excellent, as it lasted all day on the occasions that I wore it.
Hean Luxury Matte liquid Lipstick – 8mls (RSP R200)
HEAN LUXURY MATTE LIPSTICK is a non transfer Long-lasting liquid matte lipstick. It has a light nourishing formula with moisturizing Meadowfoam Limnanthes oil, beeswax and vitamin E to prevent drying of the lips.
I have NEVER heard of Meadowfoam oil before, so I had to google it and if you’d like to know more, please check this link out. It appears to have lip plumping properties, and I’m all about that life if there’s a natural way to fake plumper lips 😉
This lipstick felt very comfortable on my lips and it definitely does not transfer. My husband tried…lol. I did find after eating though, the lipstick had faded a bit. This is not a colour I would have chosen for myself, but my husband absolutely loves this colour and a friend said it looked nice on me too. I also felt very daring and wore this to work and got a TON of compliments.
The Hean products are hypoallergenic and cruelty free as well, just as a bit of extra info. I actually enjoy reading the story about the brand and how it came to be on their website.
I placed my order on Tuesday the 30th of May and emailed Glamore about which items I wanted in my combo. As mentioned, I chose the concealer for the eyes and also the oil free primer. My package arrived by Friday the 2nd of June, which I was really impressed with. Glamore asks for permission to FB message you, as that is where they run their customer support from. I received my tracking information via FB messenger and also an update once it was delivered. Gael replied to any queries in record time. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Overall the shopping experience was great, the customer service was great and I actually liked every single product.
I’d definitely recommend that you take advantage of that sign up voucher and treat yourself to something from the website.
Note: Even though I did not pay for these 2 products, all opinions are my own and honest ones at that 😉
