Dupe Factorie Pop up shop debuts in Port Elizabeth

I may be getting ahead of myself with this post, because you’d expect this post AFTER the pop up happens! My goal is to make sure that the PE gals are prepared to support this venture this weekend 😉 I, personally am beyond excited about the news that Dupe Factorie will be debuting their pop up stop in Port Elizabeth this weekend!

I have never actually tried anything from Dupe Factorie. To be able to see or swatch a product holds a lot of value for me as a makeup lover. Due to this, I am always hesitant to just try out a bunch of products bought online, because I don’t want to spend money, only to hate a product. I would assume we’re all that way, but I really don’t have money to waste. Any money I spend on crap makeup, could have gone towards my kid’s school fees. lol.

About Dupe Factorie:

We are a small growing team of beauty curators bringing the latest beauty trends to South African shores at affordable prices. ‘Dupes’ are commonly known as alternatives in the beauty world – We provide and source out alternatives to high-end brands that are usually not available in South Africa. We currently have two stores, our flagship store which also consists of 4 makeup studios as well as our head office being in Durban together with our second concept store at 27 Boxes, Melville Johannesburg.

We pride ourselves in great quality products as well as providing excellent customer service.

On Saturday evening, Dupe Factorie is hosting a blogger event to introduce us to the products and their brand. I’ll definitely report back soon on what I picked up and what I thought about the products. At the end of this post I’ll be sharing a video review by local gal, Sanesh Makeup, on her first impressions of some of the products. This may help you out in deciding what to purchase if you can make the opening this weekend 😉

If you go onto the website, you’ll see that they have a wide product range, everything from brushes, makeup sponges, to eyeshadow palettes and makeup bags. There are at least 2 items I am excited about picking up, the one is the blush palette Sanesh uses in her video and the other is the palette below that they claim is a possible dupe for my LUST PALETTE….the Modern Renaissance palette from Anastasia Beverley Hills <3

So on Sunday, 2nd of July, is the official opening to the public, and some exciting things are happening:

  • The first 5 people in the queue will receive a goodie bag worth R850 (SAY WHAT??)!! EEEK!
  • If you repost this image on social media and show it to them at the opening, you qualify to receive a free brush!

I hope you PE gals will support this venture. If the products are good, this is exactly what PE needs for us makeup loving gals that can’t always afford the high-end makeup our hearts lust after 😉
