Fond of Jane {Unboxing}

I previously unboxed the April and May Fond of Jane boxes in this post, so for a bit of info, feel free to check that post out.

I was excited about the actual Fond of Jane box this month. There’s something about the dusty pink label on the box that is just aesthetically pleasing to my eyes as a gal that LOVES pink. Also, I never have any idea of what to even expect in this box so it’s always a real surprise! #WhatsInTheBox

Anna-Loiuse Sleep Wear Eye Masks

The nice thing with the Fond of Jane box is that they give you options, so I was emailed to ask which mask colour and quote I’d prefer. I told them to surprise me and I actually was quite happy with the one I received. It’s a beautiful dusty pink and the fabric is so soft and comfortable on my face. These are 100% cotton and retail for R200 each on the Anna-Louise website.

Elli Organic Essential Oils (10mls)

We received the lemongrass oil, valued at R47.62 and a 35% off voucher, that I definitely think I’ll be using to try out some of the baby products. You can find the oil here. The lemongrass oils smells DIVINE! I’m obsessed with lemon (yes I know…I’m obsessed with everything) so to get a hint of through the bottle already…the smell is so intoxicating, but not in an annoying way.

The smell of the box was so aromatic even before I opened it. Between the rose scented bath salts and the lemongrass oil…it was just so lovely to open the box and have that scent hit you in the face. These bath salts retail for R45 and you can find it here.

Overall thoughts? So the theme to this month’s box is geared towards ‘peaceful sleep’. The value of the box this month was R292.62 and the cost of the box is R299. If I include the courier and the discount vouchers, then the box is worth a little bit more than the cost. I actually loved discovering the Elli Organic brand through Fond of Jane this month and I can’t wait to make a purchase from them. This is the thing about subscription boxes, there may be hits and misses, but I think most of the time we get exposed to brands we may otherwise not have heard about and for me that is the best part….a newly discovered gem of a brand <3
