Friday Favourite – Easy contouring

For a while now I’ve wanted to start a ‘series’ where I’d share my favourite You Tube video of the moment/week/month, because heaven knows….I watch A LOT of YouTube videos! Any spare moment I have, I’m on YouTube. My kids will testify to this, because we’re constantly fighting about who is making whose videos stream/buffer (??) slower. #ParentingFails for another post….lol. Anyways, I’ve just never gotten this series off the ground yet, because…..life and procrastination.

My daughter thinks I’m definitely qualified enough to be doing YouTube videos…bless her….but then she’ll ask me why I look like a ghost when I’m wearing my foundation and I figure, you know what, maybe YouTube isn’t ready for me. 

I saw a notification come up for a contour and highlight video that I actually thought would be really helpful for you gals. Not for the contour queens maybe, but for the gals that are just starting out in makeup or the gals that just want to make sure they’re doing the whole contour and highlight thing properly.

This video if from Allie Gardiner, a young gal from North Carolina. What I like about her is that she’s very simplistic in her makeup routine. She can glam it up, but for the most part I find her to be very down to earth and her makeup looks are very easy and unpretentious. Allie is actually the perfect gal to start off my ‘Friday Favourite’ series with I think <3

Note: The ‘Friday favourite’ is not limited to YouTube videos…it could basically be anything that was my favourite thing for the week…heck maybe one of my kids will make the cut one day! lol
