FriYAY favourite – The Lush Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter
I cannot believe that it’s FriYAY already? Again? I feel like The Flash going through my days…my weeks…my months. It’s just borderline ridiculous how Friday comes around so fast every week. I’m not complaining…heaven knows all we wish for from Sunday afternoon is FriYAY! Well, at least I do. This Friday is especially a real FriYAY for me. After a week long separation, my husband gets home today! I am counting down the minutes…..
I had 100 products I wanted to feature today, and then I realised that monthly favourites is coming up so I will have my chance. No need to have anxiety about not being able to feature every product I’ve been loving. lol. I eventually settled on the Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter from Lush. I think it’s fitting, because my husband surprised me with this after his last Cape Town trip 2 weeks ago. He somehow knew I wanted this and surprised me with the butter and a mask as well <3 So thanks husband <3
The first thing that hits you with this butter, is the scent. It smells just like lemons. I remember the exact moment I first sniffed it a few years ago at the V&A Waterfront Lush store. I didn’t buy it, because #brokegirlproblems, but it was something I always wanted to own. I always wish that Lush would open up a store in Port Elizabeth, but my pleas fall on deaf ears. Though I guess the pleas are in my head, so nobody is hearing them. Maybe that’s the problem? Anyways…moving along….
This cream is so thick and nourishing. I love applying it at night before bed. It’s winter, so our cuticles need all the TLC they can get, and this definitely does the job. It’s also multi functional, and can be used anywhere that your skin is in need of TLC…head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes… 😉 Are you singing with me?
The butter is made with a wide range of impressive sounding and difficult pronunciation type oils, so it has to be good right?
You can find this on the Lush website and it retails for R145 for 50gms of product.

aww moni don’t know how you do it with him being away so long and so often.
this cream sounds like something I need… my hands are so dry.. so I’ll just use it for that then.
winter hasn’t been good to my skin .. this winter seems the worst though.

That lemony smell is heavenly. I decluttered mine a while back as it had gone past its expiry date. Now, after reading your post, I am disappointed and annoyed with myself for not picking it up again. Its sooo good, almost as “good” as your husband, he is so sweet.
