I’m all about the Nespresso #FrothLife for my {FriYAY Favourite}

A few years ago I was visiting a friend and she offered me some coffee from her fancy new coffee machine. It was a Nespresso machine and I think it was the Lattissima. The Rolls Royce of the range. I left there like a sad small child leaving a friend’s home, jealous of her new fancy Barbie doll, while I went home to my R20 PEPS plastic doll. My heart was sore…for the fancy coffee I could never make in the comfort of my own home. My heart was sore for the sad feelings none of my friends would ever have, leaving my home, envious of my coffee machine……

I LOVE coffee. My day is not complete without a good cup of coffee. After I left said friend’s home, I realised my day would never be complete without a FROTHY cup of coffee. Every time I saw a Nespresso promotion, I would click and dream…but it was just out of my budget. One day….I saw that TFG was advertising a Nespresso sale and I called my husband and demanded that he race to the nearest @Home store. When he got there though, they didn’t know what he was talking about. Grrr. Then the advert disappeared. Huh? 

Long story short I got hold of customer care and they tracked down a machine for me. It was an ‘end of range’ machine, but I didn’t care. I think for the machine and frother I paid around R1500. We were so excited, well until we realised we had to order pods online for the machine and delivery wasn’t free. Urgh. Anyways, we got our machine and now Nespresso is available in PE so we were happy caffeine addicts. Then our frother died.

It was a sad few months in our home, living the froth-less life. My husband is such a rock star though, he would grind the coffee with the some water with the spoon and it would create a little film of froth for me. Ain’t he the best?

About 2 weeks ago we said screw it and decided to fork out the money for a new frother all in the name of the #FrothLife! I think the Nespresso frother is actually the cheapest one I found. We now have a bounce in our step in the morning again…..

If you’re an avid coffee lover, you need a Nespresso machine in your life, and even more importantly, a frother in your life. lol. We thought this was the way only rich people lived. Believe me, I am anything but rich….but this has become a necessity in our home. So today I am using my FriYAY fave to officially welcome our new frother into the family! You know if I can write a whole post just dedicated to my frother, I have problems. I didn’t choose the #FrothLife gals…the #FrothLife chose me…..
