Product Empties and what I’d repurchase {September 2018}

I was so excited about having more empties, that I could not wait to do this post!! I love having empties! I know I always say that….but the excitement I have for finished products is insane. To the point where I’ll start mass using something, because it’s close to being finished. Picture me with clumps of face mask dripping down my face…. True story! Yes, a few weeks ago I did an empties post, so if you like these types of posts, you can check that one out over here. Also I am not a fan of reader fatigue, so I do prefer to feature less products, to ensure you’re not snoozing half way through a 3000 word post. You’re welcome!

Dermalogica daily microfoliant

I wish I could take all the credit for finishing this, but I can’t. *Insert eye roll* My husband took a real liking to this product and used it all. He fully believed that it was a daily microfoliant…. because he used it daily. He cannot wait for me to get another one and has already asked me when I’ll be replenishing ‘his’ stock! The nerve…..

Will I repurchase? Yip!

Dermalogica Gel Cleanser

I got this cleanser with the daily microfoliant in the ‘meet Dermalogica‘ travel kit. This cleanser was nice. I loved the texture, that it’s a gel and it worked really well with my Clarisonic. I really don’t have anything bad to say about it.

Will I repurchase? Not right now as I have a lot of cleansers to get through at the moment!

Himalayan charcoal purifying glow mask by The Body Shop

I picked this up at The Body Shop a few months ago and I really love this mask! It leaves my skin and pores feeling deep cleaned and I love the tingling of the charcoal. My skin feels so revitalised after using it.

Will I repurchase? Yes definitely!

Roller Lash by Benefit

If you’re a long time reader of the blog, you know the Roller Lash was my ride or die mascara for so long! I love the formula of this mascara and the the way the bristles hook every single lash. It just gives me length and the most beautiful black lashes. I have probably been through about 10 of these mascaras in my lifetime.

Will I repurchase? Difficult one… I would, but my heart now belongs to the mascara below!!!

Bad Gal Bang by Benefit

So the Bad Gal mascara and I got off to a BAD start, in that I wasn’t overly impressed when I first used it. I found though, that the formula dried up a bit after 2 or 3 uses and then to me it was perfection! This gives me so much length and lovely black pitch black lashes. It’s still not the most voluminous mascara in my opinion, but I love it. So much so that it has replaced the Roller Lash as my favourite Benefit mascara. *gasp* I know….I’m an awful person….sorry Roller Lash…. It’s me….not you….

Will I repurchase? Hell yes! I usually prefer buying the mini versions of the Benefit Mascaras, because I just don’t ever ‘finish’ a mascara. Also they have to be replaced every 3-6 months, so that’s my preference. 

Review: Bad Gal Bang Mascara Review

Catrice Brow filler

I really love this as a quick fix for brows and of course, it’s Catrice, so it’s really affordable. This is a great 2 in 1 product that tints and sets the brows.

Will I repurchase? The shade was a bit off for me, so due to that, no I won’t repurchase.

Minted Mist facial toner spray by Phytocare

Phytocare sent this over a few months ago and the scent….I just adored. This mist is made with peppermint, tea tree, witch hazel and organic rosewater. Is it also alcohol-free. This feels like a light summer cocktail on my face and is so refreshing! I used this after cleansing, as a toner and I just loved the convenience of this being a spray.

Will I repurchase? Unfortunately this spray has been discontinued, so I can’t purchase it. There is however is an upgraded version of this spray that I’ll review really soon.

L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream

To me, this is the creme de la creme of hand creams. The jasmine scent is so subtle, but so delish….I just want to slather it all over! What I love about this cream is that it sinks into the skin so easily. There is no greasy or oily residue, where you feel like you can’t touch anything afterwards.  This cream contains 20% Shea Butter, honey and sweet almond extract. It also contains Vitamin E to really nourish dry or dehydrated skin.

Will I repurchase? I’m not sure. The travel size is R145 which is pricey, but it did last me a long time. If it was on promotion, I’d purchase it.
