Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom: Raptor Rescue {Kids book Review}

#BookReviewFriday is back!! I know…very naughty last week, as I had no review up! Pinky promise….I am reading up a storm at the moment so I can have all my reviews ready for the upcoming weeks. Today though, I’ve got a kiddies book review for you….and this is a goodie. Well if your kids love dinosaurs…it’s a goodie! My boys are dinosaur obsessed, so when I saw the Jurassic World: Fallen Kindom: Raptor Rescue book, I knew we had to have it!

What is the book about?

What did we think?

Okay, so this book is aimed at the 9-12 age group, and both my boys are younger than 9…but they absolutely LOVED this book. The images are so stunning and I love how the pages have information about all the different dinosaurs. However, the best part about this book…is the experience via the app. You download the app and start collecting dinosaurs as part of augmented reality experience. The dinosaurs are so realistic and the sounds they make?? It’s so cool!

We’ve had this book for probably a month now….Adam still walks around with the app and the book on a daily basis. The novelty hasn’t worn off on him. He loves showing us all the dinosaurs….making them walk on us…and also learning their names (though he knows most of them).

Would I recommend it?

I definitely would. This book is an experience….and one that will keep the kids entertained for HOURS! Be warned though, if the app is on your phone, say goodbye to your phone…. Adam has no chill…..he will dinosaur hunt for hours, until my battery dies. We’ve had to download the app on my phone, as well as my husband’s, so each boy can do their thing.
