Conceal all your mistakes with my top concealer picks!

It’s Monday morning gals, so that means we’re tired, grumpy and probably need all the concealer we can get! Right? #JustMe? Those Chanel bags under my eyes are not going to take care of themselves! Thankfully, the cosmetic world has provided us with so many options…so many, and as a result, I can just conceal all my problems! Finding the right concealer though, can be tricky, but thankfully, that’s why Rayne and I are here and doing these collaborations. Between the two of us we have about 8 to 10 recommendations, hopefully the right one is here for you!

Concealer: Because getting enough sleep is for quitters!

Tarte Shape Tape

1. Tarte Shape Tape

This one is still fresh, because I did a post last month about this concealer. So you should know that this is my top concealer for concealing ALL the problems! The Tarte Shape Tape has a thick formula, but doesn’t feel heavy. I do find this formula is a bit dry, so I prefer using a a damp sponge to apply and to also set with a non-drying setting powder.

2. Elizabeth Arden’s Stroke of Perfection

So I know I say that the Tarte Shape Tape is at the number 1 spot, but because it’s not readily available I hoard it. I hardly use it, because I don’t want to run out. Counter productive I realise. My most reached for concealer is the Elizabeth Arden Stroke of Perfection Concealer. A more creamy, lightweight formula does not exist. This isn’t super full coverage like the Shape Tape, but it does enough for me. It’s build-able and non-drying on my dry under eyes. I can’t rave about this one enough and I am due for a restock on this concealer. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the market for a new concealer.

3. LA Girl’s Pro HD Concealer

I’ll be honest, I don’t use this concealer very often, but it was my ride or die for a long time. The reason I don’t use it, is the applicator tip annoys me at times. Mine always gets clogged and it just feels like an effort at times. That aside though, it honestly is a really good concealer. Full coverage, great shade range and affordable! If you’re on a budget, I don’t think you’d regret grabbing this one.

4. Revolution’s Conceal and Define

This is another one that’s hot off the press! I reviewed it very recently, so I don’t need to go into it too much. Another affordable one from the drugstore and I think it’s a pretty good dupe for the Shape Tape. Check the review out for more info.

Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer

5. Wet n Wild’s Photo Focus Concealer

I’m very proud of myself for having THREE drugstore options in this post! Go me! #BudgetBeautyQueen?

This concealer is as affordable as they come as well! I’ll be honest, I have only tested this concealer about 4 times, but I’ve enjoyed it. It has a thinner formula, but gives a nice medium coverage. The Wet n Wild Photo Focus concealer is a tad drying on my under-eyes though. I try to apply it lightly, and with a damp beauty sponge.

I know I’ve only really mentioned under-eyes, because that is really the only place I use concealer. Any blemishes that peep through my foundation, I don’t really concern myself with. I prefer a more natural look to my makeup, so you’ll always see my blemishes. I’m not about that face beat life I guess…..

So that’s it for my most reached for concealers! Let me know if you’ve used any of these or if you have any other recommendations, specifically for dry under-eyes. Now let’s head over to Rayne’s post to see what she reaches for and loves!
