3 for 2 promo – What would I buy? {Elizabeth Arden}

Things finally feel like I can finally breathe a bit here on my little space on the internet. With everything going on in South Africa, I just wanted to take a step back, out of respect for our fallen women. Talking about beauty products and shopping, when our women and children are being murdered, to me, just didn’t feel right. I am ready to get back to a new sense of normal though, and I’m kicking it off with a new series with one of my fave bloggers… Rayne from Make It Rayne! There are always 3 for 2 promotions on at the Drugstore, Edgars, Foschini, etc… and I’m sure, whilst you want to take advantage of these promotions at times, you may not know what to buy. One thing I also hate, is buying for the sake of buying. When I know that I love a product though, I’d rather duplicate one of the items vs trying out something for the sake of filling my cart. Does that make sense? lol.

Elizabeth Arden is a brand Rayne and myself are incredibly fond of…I know, what a surprise right? NOT! Due to the love for the brand, I thought they’d be the perfect brand to kick off this series with! From time to time, their Eight Hour range goes on a 3 for 2 promotion so today I’m sharing what I’d grab on a 3 for 2 promotion. Elizabeth Arden is also available at Clicks and Dischem now, so it’s even easier getting hold of their products.

Eight Hour Miracle Mist

The Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist

Refresh, set, go! This refreshing facial mist instantly awakens the skin with a soothing touch of hydration in an ultra-fine spray. Powered by our superfruit blend, rich in antioxidants and vitamins, it leaves skin feeling reinvigorated and looking healthy. Mist in the morning, post-sweat, pre touch-up or before beauty sleep. Perfect for your on-the-go travel needs in a TSA approved size. Any occasion. Any situation.

Key Ingredients: Superfruit Blend: Acai, Goji, Mangosteen, Noni and Pomegranate Fruit Extract along with Coffee Seed provide antioxidant protection for healthy-looking skin.

Apple Leaf Extract: Provides soothing relief to irritated skin.

Are you even surprised that this is the first product on the list? I would probably buy 3 bottles on a 3 for 2 promotion, just because I’m that obsessed with it. This mist just has the finest spray you’ll ever feel on your face. The formula or density of the actual product/liquid is super lightweight, so it sprays out that way as well..like a fine summer rain. Besides the mist, it’s also packed with antioxidants and soothing ingredients. I use this basically every day of my life. A must have for sure!

Eight Hour® Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment

The perfect companion to our original classic. This fast-absorbing gel cream for the hands moisturises for up to eight hours. Soothing emollients smooth and soften rough, weather-exposed skin. Signs of dryness and cracking are reversed so hands look and feel soft and touchable.

I discovered the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Moisturizing Hand Treatment a few months ago, but it impressed me immediately. I’ve been on a bit of a hand cream bender lately, and this has a formula like no other. It is fast absorbing, non greasy and just feels so lightweight once applied. I use this before bed, so I can get the full Eight Hour benefit while I’m asleep.

Eight Hour Cream® All-Over Miracle Oil

Use Eight Hour® Cream All-Over Miracle Oil for 8 different purposes:

  1. All-Over moisture
  2. Reduces dry, rough skin
  3. Adds shine to dry, dull hair
  4. Post-shave moisturizer
  5. Massage away stress
  6. Scent promotes a sense of well-being
  7. Cuticle softener
  8. Instant shine

It’s so difficult to only choose 3, but this is why I’m doing the post….to only show you what I’d buy with my own money…if I could only choose 3 items. The Miracle Mist and the All-Over Miracle oil are 2 products I have repurchased a few times already. I just think the Miracle oil is such a multi-use product. I personally use it as a body moisturizer, and it being a spray…makes it so convenient. Addison uses this on her hair all the time, especially in Summer when she is swimming all the time. She just washes, conditions and then sprays this all over her hair and she’s good to go with her curly Summer hair. After reading all the different uses, I’m realising as I type that this really would make a good massage oil as well.

Eight Hour Great 8 Moisturizer

NOTE: These are my top 3 choices in the Eight Hour range from Elizabeth Arden. HOWEVER…. I’m not sure if the Eight Hour Great 8 Moisturiser would form part of this Elizabeth Arden 3 for 2 promotion, but if it does….ADD TO CART! This moisturiser is one of the best products I’ve tried in 2019. I’d swop out the oil or the hand treatment for the moisturiser without a doubt (depending which one I was low on)!

Let me know if you think this ‘3 for 2’ promo series is something you’re interested in….and which brands you’d like me to feature next! It doesn’t only have to be beauty related 😉 Now head over to Rayne’s post for her picks!
