Elizabeth Arden’s Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules

Are you looking for an anti-ageing super cocktail?? I’m acutely aware that the close of 2020, brings with it me….being a whole FORTY years old! At this stage, I am on the hunt for the eternal fountain of youth….and that means, preserving my skin. At all costs! Trying to keep it wrinkle free, brighter, plumper (that’s why I eat so many chocolates..ha ha)…that is the goal. I’ve never been skin care savvy, until I started blogging. So I got into skin care fairly late in the game. At that stage I started reading up about Renitol, Vitamin C, acids, clays, etc…..just finally getting myself a little educated on skin care ingredients, and what I specifically need for my skin. I don’t battle with wrinkles just yet, but brighter skin and a more even skin tone has been my struggle. Vitamin C is an ingredient I have made sure to include into my skin care regime, specifically for its’ brightening properties. So when Elizabeth Arden launched their Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules in late 2019… I was giddy with excitement.

Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules

What do they promise?

These capsules contain a serum that combines two powerhouse ingredients in one capsule: Vitamin C for its brightening superpowers and Ceramides, to prolong skin’s youthful glow.

The new capsule harnesses the power of their ultra-stable, ultra-potent Vitamin C and Ceramides to not only deliver optimal skin brightening, but also help nourish and strengthen skin’s natural moisture barrier for smoother skin to prolong its glow. Together, these complementary ingredient technologies create a fusion of results that help visibly brighten, fight hyper-pigmentation and protect skin from free radical damage. How to use?

These capsules are designed for you to twist the tips off and you then squeeze the serum into the palm of your hand. I however, snip the tip off, and I dispense about 5 drops for my face. Doing this, leaves me with another 4-6 drops that I can use the following evening. Effectively making my capsules last twice as long! You could also use the remaining serum on your decolletage and neck.

If you squeeze it, I find the capsule just collapses too much to allow you to limit the amount of serum that you can dispense from the capsule.

The texture of this is not at all like the Retinol Capsules, this serum is a lot more runny and more oil-like. I do find this takes a while to sink into the skin, so I do wait about 5 minutes before adding any other products. I do love the texture and I love how my skin feels since incorporating this into my skin care routine. Also, I find this serum effective in ensuring that new blemishes start fading, vs becoming dark spots.

If you didn’t know, I am a huge fan of Elizabeth Arden’s skin care products, and I love how innovative they are! The Vitamin C Ceramide capsules are definitely a much loved addition to my current skin care routine! What are some of your favourite Elizabeth Arden products? Will you be adding this to cart?

Note: With all pricier items, I always advise you to ask for samples where possible. This is to make sure the products do agree with your skin.Elizabeth Arden Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules
