Reviewing the Clicks MyEarth Range
By now, some of you will know that I try to be considerate as far as the earth’s resources go. I’ve cloth diapered, I recycle and I recycle water. I’m always game to support a brand/company that considers our environment. When I popped into Clicks recently and saw the Clicks MyEarth section, I was quite intrigued. I picked up a few items and thought I’d share my thoughts on those products in today’s post.
What is the MyEarth range about?

The MyEarth range is quite extensive and includes bathroom accessories, skincare, hair products, bath & shower products, body moisturisers, as well as baby products!
What did I pick up?
Hand Wash With Essential Oil Rose & Ylang Ylang {250ml @ R49,99}
This is a plant based handwash, that contains natural scents, is cruelty-free and vegan. It contains no sulphates, parabens or phthalates. The cap, bottle and the labels are all 100% recyclable.
Okay so now that I’ve got the information part of that down, I need to tell you that this smells AMAZING! There are no sulphates, so this doesn’t really foam a lot, but my hands still feel nice and clean. I also find it to be gentle on my hands…..though I do feel like I use this up faster than my other hand washes. That is due to the no foam, I end up using a bit more than I normally would. That’s me though, not the product…I am overusing it!
Antiperspirant Roll-On Deodorant Strawberry & Bergamot 50ml
Clicks MyEarth Antiperspirant Roll-On Deodorant Strawberry & Bergamot 50ml has a natural origin triple antimicrobial and antiperspirant active complex that provides invisible protection against sweating and odour and is free from aluminium and parabens. Corn Starch Mint Flavoured Dental Floss 30m
I am terribly fussy when it comes to floss. It needs to glide in without tugging or getting stuck. I get so paranoid about floss never coming out from between my teeth! To me this feels like cotton, really strong, but it does not have easy glide feel that I am looking for. If you’re not too too fussy and just need something to get the job done, and you’re big on doing your part for the planet, then you may not mind this floss.
Organic Cotton Buds 100
MyEarth Organic Cotton Buds 100’s are made with 100% pure cotton tips and paper stems. Cotton used on these eco-friendly cotton buds is not treated with toxic synthetic pesticides and fertilisers. A must-have in your home.
These are cotton buds….plain and simple. They are good for what you need to use them for, and at R9,99, I’d definitely keep buying these. I must add though, that they aren’t as soft as regular cotton buds, so be careful when using them on yourself or your child.
Fig & Wild Berry Shampoo 400ml
MyEarth Fig & Wild Berry Shampoo 400ml is enriched with sweet almond oil and glycerine to cleanse your hair, while hydrating and adding shine, without stripping it of its natural oils. This gentle plant-based formulation with a delicate natural scent is free from sulphates, parabens and phthalates.
I had a smoothing treatment done on my hair in November/December, and as a result, I need to use a sulphate free shampoo. When I spotted this, I figured I would give it a try. At R89,99, it’s a decent price point I think. This shampoo has a good lather and doesn’t leave my hair feeling stripped. It’s a bit runny, so be careful when you squirt it out. Otherwise, no complaints about this shampoo, and I’d like to try the conditioner and/or 2-in-1 next.
I was really hoping to pick up the detangling brush and the facial pads, but none of the stores I went to had stock…and I tried 3 different Clicks stores! I’ll definitely be trying some more from the line out, because I love what the Clicks MyEarth range is about. Let me know if you’ve tried anything and what your thoughts are on what you’ve tried!

I also tried the natural route for under arm deodorant and I was stinky af.

I was pleasantly surprised that the shampoo and conditioner is sulphate an paraben free. Perfect for use on Brazillian Blowwaves.
I bought some on the weekend!

I purchased the my earth day cream. I took it back to the store in Glengarry on Sunday 3rd of October. Because I did not keep the box the staff refused to give me my money back, so I went with one of the staff to the aisle where she took a new day cream off the shelf. I said I wanted to test first, which I did. I was initially not happy as there seemed to be particals in the cream – the reason I returned the 1st one. The i tried the cream for the secon time and it seemed ok. I only tried a drop so did not take enough to test because the Monday when I used a substantial amount as I usually cover my face and neck, I was horrified as the cream had particles once again. The batch no on this product looks like MB005 OR MB006 – Writing is so small I can barely make it out. I will be calling the store at Glengarry this morning and I will insist on speaking to a store manager as this is unacceptable and I wish to have my money returned for the product I bought. The second pot of cream was given to me without the box, so I do not have the box it came in. I trust this matter will be sorted effeciently and without protest. I rally liked this cream. The fact that it took me so long to return in the first place was because I do not usually shop at Glengarry, but I was with a friend in the area when I purchased this cream. I went to a different store and they refused to give me money back or exchange as I did not buy the cream in their store and they dont carry that range. I called the morning before going to the store and the lasdy told me I can exchange at any clicks so you can imagine how frustrated I was when they refused. I had to wait a while until I was in the area again. I did have my till slip but did not have the packaging. This is a product you can only get at clicks so I fail to understand why I needed the box in order to havve my monet refunded to me. It is sad that the service is so poor and that I got treated the way I was as I will never buy from clicks in Glengarry again and I will let my friends and family know just how unfriendly the staff is and how they made me feel. The mere way I was asked ” wheres the box” for me was really unproffesional and made me feel like a criminal. I dont think thius is the way we shoukld be treated. Clicks staff is supposed to be helpful and deliver a service to the client. I am not a happy customer. Its a shame really that we as customers must fight for what is right. I am appallled. If I do not get joy with the manager at the clicks ion Glengarry I will take this matter further
