You Matter, by Christian Robinson {Kids Book Review}
What is You Matter about?
In this full, bright, and beautiful picture book, many different perspectives around the world are deftly and empathetically explored—from a pair of bird-watchers to the pigeons they’re feeding. Young readers will be drawn into the luminous illustrations inviting them to engage with the world in a new way and see how everyone is connected, and that everyone matters.
Our Thoughts
You Matter is such a simple and heartfelt book, that illustrates no matter how big or small we are….we are all connected and worthy. No matter how low or small you feel, you matter. What a powerful message that is to so many kids in today’s day and age.
Christian covers so many topics among the pages of this book, such as loneliness, death, and even a bit of history! It’s not all doom and gloom though, as there are also some really funny and light hearted moments. The illustrations are so colourful and bright, that they will definitely appeal to your kiddies!
You Matter retails for around R155, though I spotted it for R134 on Loot! You can find this book at all good leading book retailers.
