Retinol Ceramide Line Erasing Eye Cream, by Elizabeth Arden

At this stage of my life, I need an eye cream to hide the fact that I’ve been tired since 2008! Tall order for an eye cream? I mean….I don’t think so in 2022! Skin care has come such a long way, and one of my favourite brands, Elizabeth Arden is always delivering in terms of innovation and what women (and/or men) want 😉 I was recently sent their Retinol Ceramide Line Erasing Eye Cream and I was ecstatic! I am a huge fan of retinol in my skincare, and so the excitement is real when my eye cream now contains retinol too!

My experience

At 40yrs old, I wish that I had started using eye cream sooner….but hopefully better late than never right? I have dry under eyes, so I am always looking for an eye cream that nourishes.

The Retinol Ceramide eye cream contains microencapsulated retinol, to smooth wrinkles and refine texture around the eyes. It also contains a Peptide blend to help firm the skin and improve tone, and then also Niacinamide blend that brightens and reduces puffiness. This is my dream eye cream cocktail! I’ve only been using this cream for 2 to 3 weeks now, but I definitely feel like my under eye area feels more hydrated. With improved hydration, I feel that my fine lines seem reduced and the area seems a bit brighter. I will still be using this for a while and I’ll post an updated review on my social media channels, as well as some before/after pictures.

Airless Pump Dispenser

I need to mention that I love the airless pump feature, but I do feel it dispenses an exorbitant amount of cream. I’d do half a pump and then adjust according to your needs. Personally, I find that I need even less than half a pump.

Eyecream is not part of my skin care regime yet, but perhaps it’s the perfect time to start. I will admit this one is a bit outside my price range, but I’m sure I can find something similar (with retinol) to start off with 🙂 lovely post however!
